Canon PowerShot G10 Digital Camera Review

Canon is again ready to dominate the industry with the introduction of their PowerShot G10. Designed after G9, this camera is built with a 14.7 Megapixel CCD sensor, a 5X zoom lens with a wide angle end of 28-140mm, DIGIC IV imaging processor, a high resolution 3.0" LCD Display with 461K dots, enhanced face detection software, image stabilizer, and E-TTL Flash Hot Shoe. By using DIGIC IV processors, the manufacturer claims an enhanced noise reduction, face detection, and motion detection performances. The camera is expected to hit the market by October at $499.95.

Standard components include a USB 2.0 cable and a NB-7L battery rechargeable lithium-ion pack capable of capturing up to 400 images. Canon G10 Digital Camera supports SD and SDHS memory cards. A 2GB professional secure SD card can only cost $ 27.50. SDHS cards are equipped with security features to protect sensitive data.

The 5X zoom lens may be a little bit lower than G9 which has a 6X zoom lens. Canon G10 Camera can produce high quality shots through a full resolution of ISO 1600. The High Sensitivity feature also allows ISO 3200 for small captures. In addition, the camera supports JPEG, RAW, and AVI files. The raw shot produced is compatible with Digital Photo Professional provided by Canon without compromising the quality of the image. Through the use of the software, images can be converted in to JPEG, TIFF, and other formats desire by the user.

Different DVD Formats - Simple Guide

Understanding different DVD formats is key to burning DVD's at home and making sure that the finished product will play on the devices you want them to. Other companies supported DVD+R and DVD+RW and as opposed to the '-' disks, the '+' disks had data stored on multiple layers of the disk.
