Cooking With Honey-Useful Facts And Tips

Cooking with honey gives you a never-ending list of possibilities and recipes due to the many practical functions honey could serve. Here I list you seven:

Honey

1) enhances browning and crisp -- great for glazing roasted and baked foods to promote surface browning.

2) is a flavour enhancer -- an always welcomed natural sweetener for hot teas and cold beverages.

3) provides texture and feel -- an excellent addition in pastries and cakes making.

4) prolongs shelf-life -- a natural preservative for pickles and sauces.

5) retains moisture -- an essential ingredient for providing the moisture in rich cakes and prolonging the moisture retention.

6) is binding due to its viscosity -- a brilliant ingredient that aids shaping of desserts such as pastries, puddings, and cakes.

7) adds colour -- contributes a delightful golden hue to sauces, dressings, jellies, and frozen desserts.

And there are several tips on cooking with honey which I believe you will find very useful:

1. As a general guide, when using honey recipes, use less of honey because it is almost twice as sweet as sugar. Replace one cup of sugar for half a cup of honey, and because honey is hygroscopic (meaning it attracts water) , reduce the amount of liquid in the recipe by 1/4 cup for each cup of honey added.

2. Give longer time for beating and more vigorous beating000007D0 compared to sugar recipes, and when baking with honey.

3. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda for each cup of honey used. This will neutralize honey's acidity and help the food rise.

4. Reduce the oven temperature by 25 degrees Fahrenheit. Honey batter becomes crisp and browns faster than sugar batter.

5. When using honey in jams, jellies, or candies, increase the cooking temperature just a bit to allow the extra liquid to evaporate.

6. The floral variety of the honey should be considered when cooking with honey since honey will impart some of its flavour.

Fun Cooking Tools For Kids!

For kids in Aspen, Denver, or anywhere in the world, the fun in cooking is not only about the food they are making. The process of preparing the food is one of the things they love the most. The use of gadgets and utensils stimulates their curiosity and creativity. Most kids love cooking gadgets, so if you want to make cooking with kids fun and safe, using the right kitchen tools can make a huge difference. Here are but a few safe utensils and gadgets that will have your kids happier than ever to roll up their sleeves and start cooking.

Nifty Gadgets for Kids

Shape cutters molds or stamps. Cookie cutters are all time favorites and in addition to using them on dough, they can also be used on sandwiches and firm vegetables. Kids simply adore food that takes on a fun shape. Cookie molds or stamps can be used to achieve a 3-D look. Cake and muffin pans and plastic molds for freezing or making mini Jell-O molds are also popular with kids.

Nonskid mixing bowls. Bowls that don't slip off the counter are available in many stores. There are some that include a suction base to keep them firmly planted.

Hand chopper. Using sharp knives is not an option for young kids. There is an easy-to-use device, which looks like a hand bell which can help them chop foods. It makes chopping safe since pieces of food are placed under the clear "bell" and the knob on top is repeatedly pushed down to lower the cutting blades onto the food within the "bell".

Juicers. Many kinds of juicers can be found at a number of stores. Electric ones that process fruits or vegetables placed within them to free juices are great for kids since they can try combining juices of veggies and fruit. Hand juicers include the basic reamers where you press and turn the fruit over a ribbed bulb and metal presses that apply lever power to the orange halves. These should be used under adult supervision to keep fingers away from the dangerous end of the press.

Kid-sized utensils. A specified set of utensils will make cooking both easier and more enjoyable. Before kids can begin their venture into the creative world of cooking, they'll need functional and age appropriate supplies. The culinary basics include utensils such as plastic measuring spoons, rubber and plastic spatulas, wooden spoons, metal whisk, and a mini wooden rolling pin.

Blenders and food processors. Power blenders and food processors are a stupendous way to combine fun and safety. They can be used to whip up pancake batter, soups, sauces, dessert toppings, shakes, and smoothies, with adult supervision, of course.

Try it out; your kids will be begging to cook up a storm.

If you enjoyed this article about activities for kids in Aspen, please feel free to post it to your site or blog and forward this link to your friends. Have a great day!

Cooking Fish

Choosing and Buying Fresh Fish

Fresh fish, sometimes known as 'wet fish', is usually purchased from a fishmonger or a fresh fish counter at supermarkets. Many supermarkets also sell pre-packed, portion controlled fresh fish which is kept at temperature of 0 - 4C and remain fresh for three days. Ideally fish should be eaten as soon as possible after it has been caught. This is often difficult in inland areas. Fish should always be chosen from a chilled or iced display counter.

All fish, especially oily and shell fish deteriorate very quickly. Lock for the following characteristics to ensure the fish you buy is fresh:

Cooking Fish

Fish can be cooked in many different ways using either dry or moist methods of cooking. When fish is cooked the changes which take place are similar to those which occur during the cooking of meat. As there is less connective tissue in fish than in meat and no make it as palatable and digestible as possible. Fish should be cooked as little and as gently as possible as the fish proteins coagulate quickly and easily. If fish is over-cooked the flesh becomes rubbery and dry.

There are less extractives than in meat so fish should therefore be cooked in such a way that as much flavor as possible is preserved. During cooking proteins coagulate, collagen converts to gelatin and some shrinkage occurs. Shrinkage however is less than with meat. Shrinkage moist heat methods of cooking water, extractives and soluble mineral salts and vitamins are lost, therefore fish cooked by boiling or stewing can be rather tasteless.

Fashion Design Sketches

The intense competition in the fashion industry makes it important for any fashion designer to showcase the designs to a larger audience. This can be done by creating fashion sketches and displaying them on the Internet. The sketches give an insight to the fashion fraternity and also to the common audience on the concept behind a particular fashion design. It is a way of communicating the theme to the people associated with the apparel industry. Hence, they are extremely important for any fashion designer.

Fashion sketches are illustrations made by professional artists and designed in a way that they can be easily displayed on the Internet. They portray the true creative genius of the designer. These can be considered a blue print of the final product. The perfection in making sketches is a prerequisite as they serve as the main marketing tool of the fashion professionals. The sketches reflect trends and the value added features of the design. They can also be used to evaluate the various patters used by different designers.

Fashion sketches are important, since they are the preliminary designs that have to be taken to the different apparel manufacturers in the market. The sketches are then used to select the different fabric samples from the wide range on offer.

Computers are increasingly being used for the purpose of making fashion design sketches. Several software are now available that assist the designers in making the drawings. While some still prefer the traditional hand-drawn sketches, others choose to opt for the speed and convenience of computer-aided designing. Hand-drawn sketches can also be fed into the computer with the help of a scanner.

The art of making fashion design sketches is important for creating a niche in the highly competitive fashion industry. Fashion designers can make their presence felt only if their sketches are different and original. Good quality sketches are the only means of establishing a firm foothold in the fashion industry.

HDTV Antenna - The Different Types of HDTV Antennas to Choose From

One of the key elements you need to get your high definition TV set to work as it is intended to you need to invest in a quality HDTV antenna. This is extremely important if you don't want to continue with a service from your satellite or cable provider. There are two type of HDTV antennas to choose from - the external type that are for outdoors and the internal type that are for inside.

There are some very powerful HDTV antennas offered that you should be aware of. The Channel Master CM3016 HDTV outdoor Aerial Antenna offers 24 elements. The main features are a locking corner reflector, EPC coating, and a boom length of 66". The UHF is 30 miles, the VHF is 45 miles, and the FM ranges are 45 miles. The M61415 Automatic by Philips is a good choice as well.

Before you decide on what type of HDTV antenna to buy you need to find out if it is illegal to have one outside according to your local ordinances. This happens in some areas because an external one is more powerful when it comes to collecting the signals. If you can place one outdoors you will get better quality service than having an indoor HDTV antenna. Some of the most popular brands of outdoor HDTV antennas are Terk TV 55, the Silver Sensor, and the RCA ANT501.

If you plan to take advantage of watching off air HDTV shows then you will need an off air HDTV antenna to do so. It is very important to understand your satellite and cable provider can't receive an estimated 1,000 stations and 200 digital TV signals that provide HDTV programs so you will get many more channels if you set this up.

If you take a look around you will find a variety of off air HDTV antennas available. One of the best ones to consider is the HDTV Antenna Pro for $49.99 because it is pre assembled and you can install it almost anywhere. It only weighs 2 pounds and it offers 13 active elements. The turning radius is 11 and 1/4 inches.

If you found this information on HD TV Antenna useful, you'll also want to read about DLP HDTV.

Useful Tips to Help You Buy Inexpensive Music Gear

Musicians and music lovers can't do without music gear. But they are a bit expensive. And people have a notion that if you want to buy a good gear then you have to spend a lot of money. But this idea is not fully correct. While it is true that the majority of them are expensive, that does not mean that you will not find any good quality gear at a reasonable price. You just need to have a crystal clear idea and have to know where to search and how to search for them.

There are lots of inexpensive music gear available now. Let us have a quick glance at some of them.

Microphone

Let us talk about microphone first. They are very important for doing music. Their price has fallen now. There are a whole lot of microphones available now and that too at reasonable prices. Marshall Electronics' MXL V67G, Behringer BL can be a good option for you.

Mixer

Mixer is necessary for music and also for your home studio. There are lots of mixers available now in the market. Some of them come at low price. But be very careful before going for them. Before buying, you should be aware of some facts. You should check out how many channels they are offering. Make sure that they offer you at least 12 to 16 channels. Otherwise it will not be much useful.

The next big factor that you should keep in mind is the digital features. Many low price gear now provide various digital effects like reverbs. Many of these effects are inbuilt. These effects are also very good for general use.

Another option is having a firewire option. It will help you to send signal to the computer from the mixer. But this option is relatively new and it hasn't appeared as an indispensable feature. So it is up to you whether you will use this or not. The Behringer mixers and the Mackie mixers are good quality low budget mixers.

Audio interface

Audio interface connects the mixer with the computer. It also converts the analogue audio signal to digital signal. Using a firewire audio interface or USB Audio interface will be good for you.

Computer Audio Workstation

Computers are very important for making music. You can mix music at home if you have a pc. But you just need a good configuration. The 1080 Debate - When Buying 1080i Makes Sense

Are you considering buying a 1080 H panel but don't know which version to get. 'i' or 'p'? LCD or Plasma? 40" or 50"? There are a lot of confusing choices to make and one of the most important is the decision if buy 1080i (interlaced) or 1080p (progressive). Interlaced displays every other line (1,3,5..) then redraws the entire screen to fill in the evens. Progressive panels draw from the top of the screen down (1,2,3..).

Progressive has a technically better picture and can make sense if the extra quality is worth paying for to you. But don't pull out your wallet so fast. Just because you bought a 1080p television doesn't mean that you'll be watching the best picture. Huh!? You have to remember that your HDTV doesn't create TV signals it only processes them. It's the familiar GIGO (Garbage In, Garbage Out) scenario. It doesn't matter how good the panel it can only look as good as the signals that are fed into it.

1080p may be the hot buzz word but don't expect you cable company to help you justify the purchase. Don't forget that 1080p transmits every line to the video to your HDTV. That's 1,080 separates lines - 1080i skips every other line so it only takes 540 lines to fill the screen and almost every cable providers transmits in 1080i.

It makes sense for them. They can squeeze two programs in the bandwidth space of one. Since they pay the government for bandwidth don't expect this to change anytime soon. (If fact as they add channels I fully expect them to transmit older sitcoms and pre-HD content at even lower resolutions. They know you can't see the difference.)

So my best advice is to buy the panel according to your viewing habits of the room the HDTV will be in. If this is going to be your first HD purchase and it's going to be the centerpiece viewing station that's connected to most of your digital goodies (HD receivers, PS3, XBox360, HD DVD Players, Etc.) then I recommend 1080p.

If it's a secondary station (bedroom, kitchen, den) then you should seriously consider 1080i. In most situations these HD panels are only connected to Cable/Satellite Sources. As stated before these are interlaced broadcasts and spending extra money for 1080p would be 100% wasted.

A variation to this recommendation is a den or game room HD that gets serious amounts of play. Casual gamers would never know the difference but if this was the HD that my gum-chewing, ipod-toting, low-pants wearing teenager sat in front of for untold hours per day playing video games I would get 1080p. Because 1080p draws the picture from the top down in one solid frame the picture appears most solid and stable. You current TV flickers quite a bit but its so subtle that you cant see it with the human eye. (if you've ever accidentally recorded a TV with a video camera you can easily see the massive flickering!)

Viewing a 1080p picture should result in reduced eyestrain and eye fatigue over hours of continuous viewing. That should save on your future eyeglass bill (aren't the braces bad enough!) but remember this does not apply to broadcast TV viewing.

So the natural advice is: 1080p will only benefit you if 1080p sources are fed into it! Broadcast TV is not transmitted in HD and even the HD channels available are only broadcast in 1080i. For HDTV panels that will display mostly broadcast TV 1080p is a waste. Spring for 1080p for your first panel if you plan on watching a lot or hi-def dvds, playing the handful of 1080p games (most aren't and don't need to be) or feeding it content that you know if 1080p. Quality 1080i panels are stunning and you can save quite a bit of money by shopping smarter for the HDTV of your dreams.

Enjoy!

P.S. The Panasonic 1080i plasma panels look GREAT!! They easily compete with higher priced 1080i and 1080p panels! For lower light rooms they're almost perfect. The color is A++ (For bright/sunlit rooms LCD displays brighter).

What's to Love About 1080p?

You have certainly heard about Digital TV and HDTV. You may even belong to the group of people who decided to buy one for themselves, but all of the information surrounding it confuses you. Much information is rather technical and there are many things hard to understand about HDTVs for average people. So, if you do not belong to the few people who are familiar with the topic, take a look around the internet & look up terms that you aren't familiar with.

1080p means that the resolution of the picture is 1,920 vertical pixels by 1,080 horizontal pixels and 'p' stands for progressive scanning. This format works on the same principle as 720p; the only difference is that in this type there are more pixels and the resolution is better. Progressive scanning offers a smoother picture, as 1080 horizontal lines are scanned progressively or in succession in a vertical frame that is repeated 30 times a second.

There are a few obvious factors to being able to detect resolution differences: the resolution of the screen, the size of the screen, and the viewing distance. To be able to detect differences between resolutions, the screen must be large enough and you must sit close enough. So the question becomes "How do I know if need a higher resolution or not?" Here is your answer.

Based on the resolving ability of the human eye (with 20/20 vision it is possible to resolve 1/60th of a degree of an arc), it is possible to estimate when the differences between resolutions will become apparent.

So, for example, let's take a 50-inch screen, the benefits of 720p vs. 480p start to become apparent at viewing distances closer than 14.6 feet and become fully apparent at 9.8 feet. For the same screen size, the benefits of 1080p vs. 720p start to become apparent when closer than 9.8 feet, and become full apparent at 6.5 feet. In my opinion, 6.5 feet is closer than most people will sit to their 50" plasma TV (even through the THX recommended viewing distance for a 50" screen is 5.6 ft). So, most consumers will not be able to see the full benefit of their 1080p TV.

However, front projectors and rear projection displays are a different story. They make it very easy to obtain large screen sizes. Plus, LCD and Plasma displays are constantly getting larger and less expensive. Let's look at a 123-inch screen and a projector with a 1280720 resolution. For a 123-inch screen, the benefits of 720p vs. 480p starts to become apparent at viewing distances closer than 36 feet (14 feet behind the back wall) and become fully apparent at 24 feet (2 feet behind the back wall). For the same screen size, the benefits of 1080p vs. 720p start to become apparent when closer than 24 feet and become fully apparent at 16 feet. This means that people further back in the room would have a much better viewing experience if I purchased a 1080p projector and that people in the front row would notice a drastic improvement.

Digital Photography - How to Use Your Camera's Histogram

You have a digital camera and one of the functions you least use is the Histogram function? Well, you are not alone. Many people aren't aware of the features of this function, thinking of it as a statistical function. Hence, majority of digital camera users do not use this function.

But the histogram function is a really really useful tool which you can use to avoid exposure issues and hence create some great photos.

This digital photography article will show you how you can utilize the histogram function to better your photography.

So what's a histogram? A histogram is actually a graph that displays the distribution of light in your picture. The left side of the graph represents the shadows, whereas the right side represents the highlights.

In simple terms, that means that if the histogram has a high peak on the left hand side, you can tell that a lot of pixels in the picture are dark, or in shadow. A peak on the right side of the graph means that a lot of pixels are bright, or in highlights. Peaks in the middle of the graph represent pixels in the mid-tones of your exposure.

So how should a histogram of a good photo look like? When a graph shows that there are no peaks on either the left side or the right, this means that that no part of the scene is overexposed or underexposed. This kind of histogram represents a good shot.

So when you can see a peak on the left side of the graph, and the right side is not in balance, then the photo is underexposed. Whereas, when the peak is on the right side of the graph rather than the left, the photo is overexposed.

So when composing your photo, always make sure that the histogram doesn't have spikes/peaks at either extreme end of the graph, where you'll lose data and have under- or overexposed parts of your picture. Learn to apply the above tips, use them and soon you'll be taking better pictures!

Single Serve Coffee Maker is Designed For Everyone!

People always asked me if there is a universal coffee maker, a coffee machine that is meant for everyone. Finally, I found one, and it is known as the single serve coffee maker!

Single serve coffee maker is a coffee machine that is very easy to fall in love with. It comes with the ease of instant coffee and the quality of roast and ground. I know that there would be some coffee snobs out there that would disagreed with the quality of single serve coffee machine, so let's just say that is a personal view.

So, how easy is the ease of use for a single coffee machine? There is no grinding, no dosing or tamping to get the correct coffee pack prior to extraction of your espresso. If you want to drink espresso, simply choose a espresso coffee pod, insert it into the single serve coffee machine, press a button and out come your espresso.

Yes, it is that simple. But, what it make up for in quality, there is some area which it can never provide and that would be the experience. Espresso is about the knocking sound, the grinding, the tamping, the dosing and the hissing sound of the steam (if you are making cappuccino), a single serve coffee maker at this moment cannot provide such an experience.

However, if you are someone that like to wake up to a aromatic espresso that is brewed on the spot and not drip overnight by some programmable coffee maker, then this is the machine for you!

Then again, which coffee drinker can refuse a freshly brew coffee in the morning and that is the reason why I said that single serve coffee maker is designed for everyone!

And it is also a fact that single serve brewer is the fastest growing segment for coffee makers, there are more consumers buying these coffee pod brewers than any other coffee machines.

But, the critics of single serve coffee always bring out the issue of closed system, trying to use that to discourage people to buy. Sure, in the past, single serve coffee machines operate in a closed system.

One can only purchase coffee that the coffee machine represent. So, for senseo you can only buy douwe egberts, and Melitta, you can only insert Melitta pods. But, that has since changed with the changes in business model for some of the machine manufacturers and also with the introduction of some great devices.

currently, some of the machines manufacturers allows other brands of coffee pods to be used on their machines if they are in their partnership network. Then, there are some cool devices that would allow you to make any coffee pods you like!

One of the easiest to use would be the Perfect Pod maker. You only need to choose the coffee ground you like, put it into the filter paper they provide then use the perfect pod maker to seal it into a coffee pod.

With devices such as Perfect pod maker, you no longer have to worry about the limited range of coffee blend, and there is no longer any closed system for single serve coffee maker.

So, not only do you get a coffee maker that is easy to use and easy to maintain, your choice of coffee is similar to what you can get for a drip filter coffee maker, isn't that something like a perfect coffee maker?

Ebenezer Heng, the owner of On Coffee makers does the research for on any machines related to coffee. As long as you are looking for a machines to better your coffee experience, chances are you can find it at http://www.oncoffeemakers.com and also more information about single serve coffee maker

Pioneer Kuro PDP5080HD Plasma Review

Like many 50in plasma tvs, the Pioneer Kuro PDP5080 HDTV has a screen resolution of 1366x768 pixels. That's not as many as competitor's (and usually more costly) 1080p models. However, at the 50 inch screen size, the pros of 1080p are equivocal for most sources. While most plasmas do an adequate job of displaying blacks, the Pioneer PDP5080 is exceptional! One con out of the box is the color accuracy of the display. The Kuro's accuracy is not the best, especially with green colors. To achieve the absolute best picture, a little tweaking is definitely needed and can be easily fixed.

Design

The Pioneer PDP-5080, like most plasma televisions today, is very sleek in appearance. The structure is a high gloss black with silver along the sides, bottom, and top of the set. From the front, only the black is visible. The Pioneer PDP-5080 includes a matching stand. It allows the speaker below the panel to be removed in case you want to use an external audio system.

Overall

This plasma displays an awesome deep shade of black with a clean image. The Pioneer Kuro HDTV also has an anti-reflective screen which greatly reduces the glare of light. Although it isn't 1080p, we do not feel this is a issue for a set this size. It was difficult to find a difference between the picture from this set and one of the newer 1080p televisions. Consequently, we feel that this is one of the best tv's being sold today...definitely worth the buy.

Who's Leading The Charge Of 3D Journalism?

If you type in the key words: "declining newspaper circulation" in either Google or Yahoo search engine these days, you will find that newspaper executives across the world are all analyzing reasons behind the phenomenon. It is a tough time for newspaper business with even the second largest newspaper group in US -- Tribune Co. being forced by investors to sell off papers for some quick cash.

Many newspaper organizations turn to online media to generate new advertising revenues. But with a challenge of facing the culture clash between printed media and a crowd of new generation Internet audiences, few online newspapers stands out above other fellow information providers as the go-to source for avid surfers.

The composition of online audiences is different from that of traditional breakfast paper readers. Many news staff in newspaper organizations attributed lack of interests in reading to the fact of "information overload". Yet survey conducted by marketing research firms found that internet users are often hunger for more information, and hence the popularity of internet "Blogs" and "Podcasts". It seems online readers are seeking more information to match their insatiable appetite for more opinions and data.

While it is natural for a traditional newspaper related online newspaper site to be decorated with web pages featuring big print like ads and popup windows, internet users show little tolerance and understanding to such traditional advertising tactics. The little tolerance is partly attributable to the popularity of craigslist.org, which has almost no graphics on the site.

On the other hand, most of the online newspaper stories especially those from common resources such as AP, Reuters, looks pretty much alike -- well, just like a newspaper print encircled by picture ads. Baring in mind the available technologies on the Internet, it does look like newspaper industry is lagging behind in the effort of satisfying information hunger of the internet readers.

When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and breached the levy, how many online news stories attached latitude and longitude coordinates of the Lake Pontchartrain, even though online surfers could be curious about how it looks on Google Map before the hurricane? For the last two years, when Google Map "meshups" starts taking off in classified departments of some newspapers, how many reporters started regularly reporting GPS locations of places in "Haditha, Bagdad, Iraq, North Korea . . ." or even street address and names in domestic stories? Is it just me, or someone else as well, that are interested in seeing satellite images, even a low resolution ones, of those places?

The only prototype that I can see so far on the Internet with such 3D journalism is:

http://81nassau.com/apnews/

which use derived latitude and longitude to plot some of the stories on the mother Earth itself. Still, it is a refreshing site with almost no ads and with stories that I can spend a few more minutes to dig deeper and digest.

When will news organizations start reporting stories with relevant GPS positions (easily available technology) along with breaking news? When will media organizations start publishing stories with latitude/longitude and projections on Google Map or the alike (another easily available technology)?

To an average online user, i.e. me, when everyone is reporting the same story, the publisher with 3D journalism is the one I am going to turn to. How do they make up for the advertising revenue that they used to have? Well, that is their problem. But with me spending 15 minutes on a story rather than 3 minutes that I used to do, they ought to be able to figure out some other ways other than displaying annoying popup ads. A story that is not 3D on the age of "information overload" is simply too thin to attract users. And who is providing 3D news stories?

Make Money With Photos - Earn a Full-Time Income With Your Digital Camera

If you're good at taking pictures with your digital camera, you've certainly asked yourself the following question: "How can I make money with photos?" Magazines, businesses and websites are constantly looking for new snaps and are willing to pay good money for them. There is no reason why you shouldn't make a little extra money or even earn a full-time income with digital camera photographs.

The simplest and easiest way to make a living using your digital camera is stock photography. It is suitable even for photography newbies and amateurs.

What is stock photography?

Stock photography is the industry term for generic photographs that can be licensed for specific use. Instead of hiring a professional photographer to shoot a picture, entities such as magazines, marketing agencies, artists and websites simply license existing photographs -- "stock photos" -- and pay the original photographer a licensing fee. The good thing for you as a photographer is that your stock images can be licensed to many different people at the same time. In other words, you can make money with photos and generate an ongoing passive income for yourself.

Stock images cannot contain copyrighted material such as company logos and trademarks. For the most part, they should be of high quality and have a clearly identified use. In most cases, snapshots and tourist-like pics don't fall into this category. Also, if there are any persons individually recognizable on the photograph they must sign a model release form before you can offer to license it to a buyer.

There are many stock photography websites that act as intermediaries between you as a photographer and millions of potential buyers. You can sign up with several of them and see which you like best.

You don't have to become a professional photographer to earn a living with photographs. Give it a try and start today.

If you need money now, like I mean in the next hour, try what I did. I am making more money now than in my old business and you can too: read the amazing, true story of Martin Thomas, in the link below. When I joined I was skeptical for just ten seconds before I realized what this was. I was smiling from ear to ear and you will too.

Design Your Landscape in 3D

We live in a computer age. Practically every household has a computer, and every big town has a computer store where one can go to stock up on software or all kinds of games. There's software for everything from learning a foreign language to correlating your recipes... to designing your landscape.

The traditional way to design a new landscape is to sketch out a scale model of your front or back yard on a sheet of graph paper, with each block equivalent to a certain number of feet, depending on the size of your yard. Over this grid you place sheets of tracing paper, on which you play around with the different kinds of features you'd like to see in your landscape, and where they'd best fit.

You can now do the same thing with a computer program - only with the software you'll be able to see things in 3-D which will aid greatly in the visualization of your finished design.

Of course even if you use landscape software - there is still information that you need to research on your own, which you'll have to input into the program, in order to use the software effectively. You'll have to have exact measurements of the width and length of your yard. You must know the pH balance of the soil, and the soil composition - sand, clay, etc. You must know where it slopes and where it's level - which effects water runoff.

There are only a few landscaping programs on the market - you'll want to do a little research on each to find if one suits your needs.

Competing programs include the Better Homes and Gardens Landscaping and Deck Designer, Instant Landscaping, and Your Complete Landscape and Garden Designer.

If you decide to purchase a landscaping program, of course do the common sense things of making sure you have the right operating system and enough memory to run the program. Make sure the company offers technical support. Surf the web to get an idea of any feedback or complaints on any of the software before you buy it.

Features to look for:

Landscaping templates - the more the better.

A library of more than 4,000 components for your project ideas - try to get software designed for your particular area - so t hat it's library will contain plants you're likely to use.
A feature helps you seek for plants based on drought tolerance, climate deer, resistance, etc.
Ability to design and visualize your areas in 3D.

The drawback to landscaping software is that it can be difficult to use if you are not computer savvy. But if you're not averse to reading manuals, this software can make your landscape designing even more enjoyable.

3D Models and Their Uses

3D or three dimensional models are used for a variety of purposes. Surgeons and filmmakers are only two of the many professions that use 3D models on a regular basis. 3D models are created by mapping various coordinates in a 3D space.

Medical professionals use detailed 3D models of organs to teach medical students, outline and plan surgical intervention as well as demonstrate procedures to students and patients. Plastic surgeons use detailed software to create 3D models of the body to demonstrate a "before and after" to the potential patient.

There are two types of 3D models: Solid and Shell. Solid models define the volume of the 3D model are solid, such as piece of stone. Solid 3D models may be used in many engineering models. They are used for simulations that are non-visual. Shell 3D models are more diverse and contain the outer layer, and represent the surface of a 3D model. Shell 3D models are used within film making and video game creation to allow the user to manipulate the model as needed.

3D models have many benefits over traditional 2D models, such as: the flexibility that is offered with the use of 3D models - we can change angles, or create animated imaged much quicker than using two dimensional models. 3D models combined with software enable us to make instant calculations. This is one of the reasons why 3D models are increasing in popularity with earth scientists and engineers. Lastly, 3D models allow us to have a concise picture of an object which allows for higher levels of accuracy when building, designing or figuring. Additionally, 3D models have the benefit of becoming easily animated to see all facets of a structure or object. It is this feature, the ability of 3D models to be turned on a sphere, from the middle point that has increased the functionality of the renderings.

3D Model use in Graphic Design

3D models are used widely in graphic designs that contain 3D animations. A graphic is created by a coordination of points on a chart. A model does not become a graphic until it has been visually displayed by animation and rendering. There are three parts to creating a 3D model within a graphic design. First, 3D modeling occurs in which a shape is given to an object using the coordination points. These points are graphed onto a chart. In the case of graphic designs, the majority of models will be shell models which can be easily manipulated for size and shape.

Next, layout and animations occur which give can give movement to the object within its scene. Next comes the process of rendering, rendering the 3D object refers to creation of images from that particular object. This particular step gives the spacing between the image and the scene in which it is found it with by special measurements. Layout determines how the object is going to move over time, and if any change will occur within the object.

Rendering is the process in which the animation is taken from a 3d model to a graphic. It includes the visualization of an image that can be manipulated with style or light. Rendering has two basic processes: these are, scattering and transport. Scattering defines how the surface of the object will interact with the light and transport defines the process of how light will get to one place or another. There are two ways that a 3D image can be implemented into a software program. It can be created by the program, or another design program, or the image can be scanned into the computer with scanning software.

After a model has been rendered, it is easily transformed to 2D to ease the editing process, but the process of creating a 3D model from a 2D means the three step creation process must occur; (modeling, layout and rendering).

3D Model Use in the Medical Field

More than likely, the most familiar 3D models in the medical field can be seen on a visit to the local Doctor's office. Within that office there are 3D structures of organs, from the heart and lungs to the digestive or skeletal system. These models are used for teaching anatomy or medical students, or used to demonstrate abnormality, disease or procedures to patients. Although the organs lie inside the body, the 3D models give the patient an opportunity to visualize the organ in the correct manner.

Software has made it possible for surgeons to create surgical plans, and be assisted throughout the procedure. Specific software renders 3D images of the organs that are to be operated upon. These medical 3D models are accurate in size and shape but some also in detail - even texture. The models are created as similar to organs as possible. This feature allows surgeons to learn, before assisting with a procedure on a human body, to know the feel of an organ. Specific textures and materials are used to create 3D heart models, as the heart is certainly not made from hard plastic. Some specialists, such as plastic surgeons render 3D models to allow the patient to visualize the results of specific surgeries. In this process, a picture is taken of the patient, or, a personalized 3D model is created through the use of software based on specific measurements and coordinates to create the desired changes, and visualize these changes - instantly!

3D models have become valuable teaching tools. Many websites allow the user the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the inner working of organ through 3D models. These models are beneficial to students in a secondary school level, all the way to students in a Medical Doctor program. The accuracy is pristine and the renderings allow familiarity, and are easier to learn than a two dimensional image on a page.

Getting Exercise While Playing Video Games!

Getting exercise by playing video games can be misunderstood by many people. How, is the question on everyones mind. Most gaming consoles use the two hands, mainly the two thumbs, which if you think about it, does improve the thumb muscles which can be a huge benefit for those professional P-Knuckle players. Then there's the Nintendo Wii. A console that allows the player to use their actions to play the game. It doesn't matter, how big, how fit, how old or how bad you are at any sports to be able to embrace the potential of this next generation of gaming. Who know, you can maybe try those new sports you thought you can never play. Even more, become better than some of the superstars we have today. The saying does go "Practise makes perfect".

One of the best features of the Nintendo Wii is that you are using a whole new set of muscles that you don't normally use. Not just the two thumbs. Muscles from your arms, upper torso, abdominals, and the legs are all been used. Hence, the best formula to losing weight while having fun playing games. So if you put it all together, exercise can be very enjoying. Who would have thought of that? Maybe this is the next era of decreasing obesity.

It kind of makes you think though. What are they going to make next. With this gaming console/exercise machine already very popular with a variety of groups from gamers, sports people, families and many more. How are they going to enhance what we have today? Can't wait to they bring out the next generation of gaming consoles.

Thanks

Sony Ericsson C905, A Mobile 3D Game

Aside from listening to music most mobile phone users are also avid gamers. Gamers range from CPU, Laptops, PSP, and Gameboy to mobile phones. Graphically, your first choice for gaming would be a PlayStation Portable or a GameBoy or stuff like that. Last, of course, would be playing on your phone. If you don't have much of a choice, you stick with your phone and painstakingly play away and absorb the poor graphics.

Playing games on the mobile phone is not quite entertaining compared to PSP's or Gameboy's since you can't get visual quality no matter how cool the game is. So those game addicts prefer to lug around a PSP or a GameBoy since it is more visually entertaining. So you would need to wear pants with extra or big pockets for it or bring a bag with you or just hang it around your neck. Of course you would look like you're showing off but for all they know it you are already agonizingly putting up with the stiff neck.

But a 3D feature on your mobile phone displaces everything about gaming. Plus you get to answer your phone whenever somebody calls in the middle of a game. Unlike portable game gadgets, you sometimes miss a call on your mobile phone just because you have game earphones on or you did not hear it or forgot to have it vibrate when you get a call. Just make sure the game your downloading is 3D compatible. You surely will need an extra battery for that or bring a charger with you. Just in case you run out of juice during traveling.

3D gaming on your Sony Ericsson C905 mobile phone... now that's entertainment!

For the latest contract phones, visit the number 1 mobile phone comparison website today. They can help you find the best Sony Ericsson C905 deals from the leading mobile phone retailers from across the UK.

Benefits of Rapid Prototyping & 3D Printers

Rapid Prototyping is a very popular process in the manufacturing, design, and medical industries. It help users to develop quick prototypes and obtain accurate feedback from their target audience.

The high demand for rapid prototyping services can be attributed to a number of factors. These services help in eliminating design flaws at the conceptualization stage itself. There are a number of devices that assist in rapid prototyping; 3D Printers being one of them.

Numerous industry verticals require its services; especially those that are associated with design and development of products; the automotive sector being the most prominent of all.

In our opinion, having the support of a reliable vendor can be the source of a sustainable competitive advantage. If your vendor can ensure quick deliveries and provide innovative solutions to your problems then it will greatly reduce your time to market and help you churn newer versions of products with a faster turn around time.

Another advantage is in terms of the safety of intellectual property. Rapid manufacturing solutions tools like 3D printers ensure that your designs never leave the premises of your company and your intellectual property is safeguarded.

This industry is all set for exponential growth in the times to come. However, what is proving to be the biggest impediment to the growth of this industry is the high cost of prototyping machines. This problem is likely to be solved in the near future as demand for prototyping services increase, leading to higher supply and thereby lower MRP of the machines.

Rapid Prototyping is in high demand in medical, engineering, and industry. With computers acquiring digital capabilities; users can input two-dimensional drawings and obtain three-dimensional models of their ideas. The availability of precise image manipulation software's has helped designers to simulate designs with a remarkable degree of accuracy through the use of vectors.

Mathematically computed imagery helps in developing designs with a very low error margin of less than 1 millimeter. An example would illustrate this better. Suppose a group of surgeons want to operate upon the cranium of a patient but have not decided upon the right surgical procedure to be used. Rapid prototyping proves very helpful in such circumstances. By using a prototype of the cranium developed through a three dimensional printer; surgeons can arrive at a strategy before operating on a patient.

Thus, we see that rapid prototyping has the potential to become the backbone of the medical, design and manufacturing industries and is certainly one of the gifts of the digital age to mankind.

At EMS we deliver our 3d scanning, reverse engineering, and rapid prototyping service involving both on-site and off-site engagement models.

Women As a Subject of Art

Women have played a vital role in art and paintings from a long period of time. The representations of women figure in artistic mode have become a distinctive style of the artists. It is little bit tough to imagine a world without images of people but in a particular phase portraiture totally disappeared in Europe with the collapse of Roman civilization. Figures of saints, Virgin Mary, angels and demons were only depicted in the paintings. Self image was not considered as an important element in art of that phase.

But in the meantime these paintings were made, a thousand years after the fall of ancient Rome, notions about identity and the individual had changed. In the earlier portraits the image of individuals were drawn in different matter as for example a women in prayer in front of Virgin Mary.

But with the passage of time portraits of men and women become very popular and it become an integral part of the dynastic kingdom. Even then at that time many aristocratic couples introduced themselves through portraits of themselves. Even painters immortalize their loved ones through images. Paintings were drawn to capture the beauty and spirit of their lady love. Increasingly, the works in these gallery painters strove to convey not simply physical appearance but personality and character as well in their art.

The sex role images also play an integral part of the art. Traditional ideas of masculinity as well as feminism were reinforce in modern art. Women were not only the impetus behind works of art; they were also featured in countless pictures. Although images of women are abundant, their meaning is regulated through eroticization or a Neo-Platonic interpretation. Various images of Eve and the Virgin Mary demonstrate the shameful and lustful cause of expulsion from Eden and the ideal, virginal mother of Jesus.

Even in some cases images of women were often considered to be an empty sign that could symbolize virtues, vices, and intangible ideas. Often women were presented in the guise of famous exemplars, such as Lucretia, a Roman matron who committed suicide to avoid the shame of her rape upon her family members. Even Biblical models like for example Judith, who saved her people when she seduced their enemy Holofernes with alcohol and cut off his head after he collapsed, and Susanna, who refused to have sex with two voyeuristic Elders were also portrayed. They reflect the female virtues, sometimes even the sexual wiles of women are also used in images, emphasizing upon the fact how a female seduce men.

Art has always been the motion of expression of the artist's mind and nowadays art are available online at online art gallery.

An Introduction to the Abstract Artistic Movement

Abstract art is traditionally defined as being those pieces that do not represent objects in a realistic way, relying instead on colors and form. The subject of the art piece can be somewhat based on a realistic object in so far as it is recognizable but there will be obvious stylistic devices used.

It could be argued that abstract art is the oldest movement on Earth, since cave drawings were abstracted versions of daily life. Constructivism brought the abstract theory from paintings to sculptures starting in 1915. The De Stijl architectural movement of two years later also gained inspiration from abstract art.

Famous American abstract artists include Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Franz Kline and Willem de Kooning. Jackson Pollock became famous for his drip technique that utilized the newly created glossy enamel paints on the market. He used sticks, hard brushes, syringes and the paint cans themselves to drip paint across his canvases. He would often fling the paint from across the room to create a desired effect. He produced his most lasting works between 1947 and 1950. In 1949, Time Magazine featured the artist in a piece they called "Jack the Dripper" and supposed he may be the greatest painter alive in the United States at that time. Pollack soon after dropped his drip technique, evolving into more "traditional" abstract pieces. Pollock, a lifelong alcoholic, died in a drunken driving accident in 1956 when he was 44 years old.

Mark Rothko got his start in the mid-1920s New York in a collective of artists that included Adolph Gottlieb, Barnett Newman, Joseph Solman and John Graham with Milton Avery serving as their epicenter. He compared abstract art to the works created by primitive man and small children. He drew influences from mythology and the works of Friedrich Nietzsche, especially the book The Birth of Tragedy. Rothko was quoted as saying: "I am not an abstract painter. I am not interested in the relationship between form and color. The only thing I care about is the expression of man's basic emotions: tragedy, ecstasy, destiny." He committed suicide at the age of 65 by overdose of antidepressants.

Franz Kline shared a similar action oriented style of painting as Jackson Pollack. His best received works were in black and white. His influences included Japanese calligraphy, railroads and other transportation architectural devices. He was a good friend of Willem De Kooning, who suggested to him the use of a projector which Kline immediately loved.

Willem De Kooning was also an "action" painter. He did a series of abstract figure-based images early in his career. In his later career he turned to the enamels that Pollack favored out of necessity since the traditional paints were too expensive for him to afford. He continued to use figures and entered the maturation of his career. The works he created late in life, during the 1980s, have never been put in an exhibit but are said to have shown great promise in predicting future artistic trends even though de Kooning himself was slipping into Alzheimer's disease.

Sketching - Simplify Your Drawings For Greater Effect

When you first start out as an amateur artist, there is so much knowledge, skills and expertise that are important to learn. It can be quite daunting and the temptation to try out a whole variety of different techniques can be both appealing and almost overwhelming.

While trying out different mediums is always exciting, it is useful initially to learn the basic skills required to master a specific technique. Learning to capture the essence of the subject matter quickly and accurately is high on the priorities list for any beginner to the world of art and this is what makes sketching so important.

* Some artists will spend a long time developing a good sketch, capturing a variety of details so that the picture builds up to reproduce a fairly accurate image. Spending hours however on a single sketch is not a realistic use of time as practice is more important so as to be able to develop your skills in a minimal amount of time. Learning to relax and trust in your ability to reproduce a scene quickly and efficiently is crucial as there may be occasions when a quick sketch is all you can afford time-wisely.

* When out sketching it is easy to spend hours absorbed in the almost impossible to task to capture every line and every curve of the scene in front of you. However, if you wish to take an exact copy of the landscape or subject, then rather than sketching, you could easily use a camera as this would capture all of the details that you would have spent hours laboriously trying to record.

* The true art to sketching is to capture the essence of the subject or at least capture the characteristics so that when you are at home with all of your painting equipment around you, you have enough information recorded so as to be able to reproduce the theme to suit your requirements.

Quite often the information that you leave out from a sketch gives you a freedom to improve, enhance and redesign giving you complete creative license. When you get back to your studio, this is when you start adding more details to your picture.

What if I teach you how to get started with drawing and painting with great ease following simple steps?

Follow these steps for your perfect creativity flow.

A Dream Camera From Samsung

Are you dissatisfied with your old film camera and have some disappointment with your first digital camera? Well, last July Samsung announced their new point and shoot digital camera, the TL 34HD. Amazing is not too strong a word for this state of the art camera.

If you have been beguiled by the quality photos taken by DSLRs but are reluctant to lay out two thousand dollars for a heavy, bulky camera when all you need is a pocket friendly digital camera for kids shots, vacation memories and the occasional wedding in the family.

The TL boasts state of the art features all combined in one package. Fourteen point seven mega pixels allow artifact free sharp enlargements up to 24 x 30 photographs. More important is the fact that you can crop the image severely without loss of quality. This feat is possible due to the large number of pixels, the 25% larger CMOS sensor and the advanced processing used by Samsung.

While the amateur photographer occasionally appreciates having manual controls, the average shooter would rather rely on automatic operation and foolproof results. Aiding you in this endeavor is a three inch diagonal LCD screen with 460,000 pixels of resolution rather than the usual 290K. Also helping you is the anti-glare reflection applied to the screen's surface. This amazing screen is operated by touch. Just tap your finger on the area you want from the menu and the camera does the rest. Even manual focusing can be executed this way.

Other automatic features right out of the future are: face detection, optical and digital image stabilization, 5x digital zoom, 80 to 3200 ISO sensitivity, beauty shot, and blink detection. The beauty shot can be used for smoothing blemishes for outstanding, clean portraits. The blink detection can be a shot saver when you can't go back to do it over.

The lens is the heart of a camera and the single most important quality requirement for good, sharp pictures. The TL is fitted with a Schneider 3.6X zoom lens. The equivalent range comes out to 28mm true wide angle to a decent 102mm medium telephoto. The 5x digital zoom is quite effective when necessary because of the large number of pixels you have to work with. The maximum telephoto extension comes out to about 500mm. Here the dual image stabilization is a God send. For those close up shots of flowers, engagement rings and Mother's Day cards, this lens takes macro pictures at five centimeters with the wide setting and at 50 centimeters at the telephoto setting. When you are finished taking pictures, the lens collapses flush with the body and seals itself with an electric operated lens shade.

This camera is less than four inches long and has metal construction throughout. The design is simple but eye-catching in its fashionable colors of satin silver and red, silver with a gold top or even all brushed stainless black.

I've left the best feature for last. The ability for photographers to create an instant video with sound has recently been a feature adorning many digital cameras. Unfortunately, until now, the video portion has been minimal in quality - about like an analogue television picture - and the sound screechy and distorted. Enter High Definition 1280 x 720 video and stereo sound. With only one limitation of five minutes continuous video, the TL produces an amazingly true movie, viewable on a computer monitor or an HD LCD television screen. Helpful is the Samsung HDMI cradle which allows the regular use of the TV remote. One especially useful feature is the TLs ability to pause the movie action momentarily, then continue seamlessly when ready. Previously, digital cameras created separate clips when stopped. Four qualities are available for movie production, all at thirty frames per second for a professional look. Gratefully, Samsung chose to allow zooming while videoing. I recommend a high speed 16Gb SDHC chip if you plan on using the video feature extensively.

Shutter speeds of 1/2000th to 8 full seconds can be critical to stopping action to long night time exposures. The usual features of Aperture Priority, Auto White balance, and many others are of course present. The ISO sensitivity is usually automatically chosen by the camera according to need but the higher ISO capability of this camera allows candid photography without flash in low light levels for a natural ambiance look to the photos.

A nice element is the recycle bin that stores all your photos and videos even after you delete them. You never know when you will change your mind and regret your deletion and want to retrieve them for posterity. All these features and outstanding image quality is contained in a package three inches high and weighing less than five ounces. The TL can be had for $273.00, and adding $50.00 for the cradle, $17.00 for an extra battery and $140 for an Ultra III SDHC card, you will be ready for anything.

Into The World Of Maya

If we are to talk about computer animation and the software associated with it, there is one name we cant afford to missthats Maya! Maya is the leading name in 3D animation and rendering software for its high-end features and unique capabilities. Getting its name from the Sanskrit word for illusion, Maya indeed lives up to it by its powerfully impressive potential, which have enraptured all the animation-crazy creatures of the present world.

To let you in this world of illusion and Maya, you must know its origin. This is an integrated 3D software package, developed from Alias Power Animator. Maya has been released in two versionsMay Complete and Maya Unlimited (the more advanced version). Many popular feature films of today owe their fame to Maya. For instance, Jurassic Park, Terminator 2: Judgment Day have their fame rested on the power of Maya 3D animation. Mayas originator Alias Research merged with Wavefront-TDI and this resulted in great synergies; both combined their best software strengths taking each step closer to the discovery of Maya.

Alias moved the Mac product Alias Sketch! to the SGI platform and modified it further with the code name Maya. This was when this word first came into use. Later, Alias|Wavefront merger took the Maya saga forward inspiring customers to switch to this high-end product. When Alias was acquired by Autodesk in 2005-2006, this software came to be known as Autodesk Maya.

Maya not just takes prides in its versatile modeler, character animation and visual effects capabilities; it is also strongly popular in video game development. Its node-based architecture helps in creating complex animation and rendering links. Because of its complex functionality, it is quite difficult to learn this. However, Maya tutorials are plenty over the web to help learn comfortably or take guidance.

Maya has also been used in some of the finest animated television shows that time has ever produced. It has a customizable interface which helps in bringing about various high-end visual effects. This is one interesting feature in Mayaits adaptability to third-party software, functioning in the garb of another software. So this precisely explains why Maya is the software of choice in big studios where customized codes are written for production.

With Maya, you are capable of keyframe, nonlinear, and path animation, motion capture animation, skinning, rendering (shading, lighting, and paint effects), constraints, character sets, mental ray rendering, and more. The Unlimited version also helps you to implement cloth, hair, fluid and fur simulation, etc. along with scripting and plug-ins. Maya 3d tutorials are something which you can always fall back on whenever you need guidance or would like to challenge your own understanding of the software. So enjoy being transfixed to this illusion of Maya.

Xbox 360 Dead? Check Out Your Options to Get it Fixed

If your having difficulties with your Xbox 360 console, whether it be red lights flashing, overheating or freezing, most likely your very pissed off at this point, ready to quit, specifically if you don't have the cash to kick out to Microsoft to repair it for you and even then, at a ridiculous cost that not too many people can afford!

No worries, you'll get your Xbox 360 repaired in no time and be playing your best games in no time, because you can bet your butt, this article is going show you exactly what to do and where to start!

Your 3 Very Best Choices...

A.Yes, you could of course send your Xbox 360 into Microsoft for repair, but as you know, that's going to be very expensive, probably more cash than you want to invest and...

B.The other option you have to repair your Xbox 360 is to have a 3rd party Xbox 360 repair company, do the repair work for you. This is a great choice if you are willing to take a bit of a risk. Allot fo the times, unless you know someone, will also try and get a way with charging you as much as they possibly can. You could end up paying twice as much as Microsoft would charge you, now thats ok, but only if you've got the money. The upside to this is, they would probably get it fixed much sooner the Microsoft could.

C. Your third options is...You, repair your own Xbox 360 right at home because all you really need is a good Xbox 360 Repair tutorial to get it done correctly. I know it sounds a bit crazy but you really can fix yourself, without any problems, believe it or not, this is choice that most people are taking just because times are tight right now due to the economy and if they can do it, you can too!

If you're going to try this option it is recommended that you find a tutorial guide with videos, making sure it gets done right.

So, what do you think your best choice is to get this thing fixed? At least now you know your options and where to start.

It's also recommended that if your console (Xbox 360) is still covered under its original 3 year or 1 year warranty to let Microsoft repair the error for you, but if you think it's not a big enough problem to send it in to them and end up waiting the relentless 6-8 weeks... or if you want, you can try to fix the problem yourself, because it's not really that difficult to do, "if a 12 year can fix his Xbox 360", you can certainly do it too!

Hopefully this awesome article has at least giving you a better idea about how you can get your Xbox 360 fixed and I also hope, by using this article you get it up and running sooner!

O, I almost forgot, you also have a 4th choice. what I forgot to mention is something that I heavily recommend you take action on right away, not only will you be able to save a $100 dollars, but you'll also get a kick Butt, Big Fat Guarantee, that your Xbox 360 will be 100% working again, no matter what the problem is, or they'll pay you $30 bucks, would you like to see what the heck I'm talking about, of course you would, just click...

The link that says I Want My "Xbox 360 Fixed Now" and I'll see you there and on Xbox 360 live, because I can't wait too smash and thrash on Gears of War, thanks for reading! http://xbox360repairfix.blogspot.com

Free PSP Games - Where Not To Get Free PSP Games From

Free PSP games, is that what all PSP owners want. Well you might be surprised to learn that actually they don't. Why the hell wouldn't you want free PSP games I here you cry, well the answer is simple and goes along the lines of the old saying nothing in life is free. This is certainly true when it comes to free PSP games and downloads.

The truth is if you look hard and long enough you will be able to find free PSP games but your search will be long and painful. Do a Google search "free PSP games" and see what comes back I think at the last count there are over 5 million results but how many of these actually have free games for you to download, not many let me tell you.

As I said before nothing in life is free and when you eventually find a site offering you so called free games it will be filled with at best lots of ads and pop ups and at worst spyware, adware and even the odd virus or two. A couple of friends of mine have been on the quest for free PSP games for a long time now and a few weeks ago I got a call from one of them telling me how I didn't no what I was talking about and they had found a great free download site. You might be able to guess what is coming next, well I now have his computer trying to recover some important files of his that have gone missing due to a strange virus. be warned if you download stuff make sure you trust the site in question otherwise you could encounter a few nasty surprises.

My advice if you want to download game for the PSP is to forget about the free option and join one of the paid membership sites. To be honest I don't really care what you do and the choice at the end of the day is yours. I join a download membership site on the recommendations of a good friend of mine and have never look back. if you are unsure what is all about check the link at the end and it will take you direct to a review of the best download sites available.

Take The Next Step: I love my PSP and the great thing is I get all my games without paying for them. if you love your PSP head on over to Monster-PSP.com For all the latest news on your PSP.

Clothing Etiquette - Bad Wardrobe Decisions Are A Serious Career Mistake

Business Etiquette Major Shortage on the Fashion Police Force

There it was! The perfect outfit Id been looking for to wear when I go on my cruise to the Bahamas. A metallic crop-top cami, a floaty sheer chiffon tiered skirt, strappy stiletto sandals, lots and lots of bangle bracelets, and enough stringed beads to be the envy of any fortune teller. Where did I see this? Not on a runway. Not in the pages of Elle. Not on the hot fashion trends segment of Today. No, this little number was courtesy of an intern on her way to a business briefing.

I thought she might be auditioning for a part in Carmen after work, but not so. Apparently she sees each new day as an opportunity to dazzle her bosses and coworkers with her fashion savvy. Someone desperately needs to tell this young woman that unless she signs a major recording contract or plans to start reading palms full time, she should forget about setting trends and focus instead on developing a professional image.

In my completely subjective opinion, the end of civilization as we knew it started when people began wearing athletic shoes and sweats at work. Okay, so jogging or walking midday is healthier than gorging on nachos and Ho-Hos at a desk, but did anyone else notice that even those who werent exercising during lunch started to wear Reeboks with business attire? While I dont doubt that some people were genuinely intent on improving their health by moving more and eating less, plenty either liked the comfort of such clothes or they were trying to convince themselves and others that they were actually getting buff by just dressing the part.

This was the first chink in the wall of decorum, and from what Ive seen recently, that walls about ready to come a-tumblin down. Consider the establishment of Casual Friday in so many businessesclearly linked to bringing the gym into the workplace. Now employees are trying to bring the weekend into the workplace as well. What is the thinking behind this trend? Is this a subtle indication that we are buying in to the idea of a four-day work week? Is this in some way supposed to appease disgruntled employees?

Even if it started out to be some sort of perk, dressing down at the end of the week has been twisted beyond recognition. This is proof of that old expression: Give em an inch, and theyll eat the whole enchilada. Warm weather makes the situation even worse.

Granted, we expect to see more flesh in the summer than at any other time of the year. Wherever people choose to take a break from work and rising temperatures (the beach, a park, mountain trails), we arent shocked by the sight of bare arms, legs, backs, midriffs, or feet. We can even understand a more pared down approach to dressing in the workplace when temperatures soar, but even so, overexposure and lack of discretion have reached epidemic proportions. Where are the fashion police when you need them?

Just because its hot, this is no reason to ditch your duds or common sense as you head off to work. Most indoor workplaces are air conditioned these days, so its not as though youll be putting in time at a sauna, unless thats where you work. If that is where you work, then you can stop reading now. For the rest of you, keep going.

Many of you probably had mothers or grandmothers who advised you to always wear clean and intact undies when you left home, just in case you got hit by a bus and had to be whisked off to an emergency room somewhere. The presumption was that you actually would be wearing something over your unmentionables. Apparently that part of the message got lost in recent years. Consider the popularity of such items as camisoles, belly shirts, halter tops, and miniskirts. While these are fine away from work, they are not okay at workever!

So who is to blame for the fashion crimes that abound in workplaces today? From what Ive been able to tell, the fault lies with two entities:

1) employers who have let the ponies out of the starting gate and cant corral them back in, and
2) employees who have never heard of dressing for success. Here are a few tips for both sides.

For Supervisors

If your organization has no dress code, establish one.

If your organization has one, enforce it.

Set the standard by being compliant yourself.

You are your employees supervisors, not their pals. Speak up when your sensibilities are assaulted.

If all else fails, send employees home who are inappropriately dressed for your workplace.

For Employees

Know your organizations dress policy.

When in doubt, stray on the side of conservatism.

If you hope to advance in your organization, emulate the style of those whose positions you would like to have.

If you expect to be treated professionally, look professionaleven on Casual Friday.

Use common sense and realize that the media sell trends and not necessarily good taste.

Obviously the standards will vary from one workplace to another. If you work for an organization that requires wearing a uniform, you can quit reading now. If you work for a business that is nontraditional and rather laissez-faire where work attire is concerned, you can stop too. For the rest of you who work in places that have established rules that can be misinterpreted or pushed to the limits, stop and look in the mirror before you leave home. Ask yourself: Does what I have on reflect the image my business wants its clients or customers to see?

Im not suggesting you need to be unduly formal. After all, evening wear in the workplace would be just as inappropriate as a thong bathing suit. Somewhere between these two extremes is a happy medium that will allow you to do your job and look professional. In the meantime, dont rely on fashion or style magazines to determine what is appropriate for your workplace. Save the trendy items for your hours away from workno ifs, ands, butts, or bellies about it!
